About

Boston Dance Theater's first ever 'Florence Dance Center Repertory Intensive' (FDCRI) is an innovative, rigorous training experience for professional dancers, ages 18 and older, within a professional American contemporary repertory dance company environment. During this 5 day workshop, artists will have the opportunity to train alongside the company artists in daily contemporary classes, as well as learn repertory selections by American, European, and Israeli choreographers: Itzik Galili, Micaela Taylor, Marco Goecke, Yue Yin, Jessie Jeanne Stinnett

Please note that all sessions will be facilitated in English.

Upon completion of the BDT's Florence Dance Center Repertory Intensive, participants may be considered for Trainee Program, Apprentice, or Core Member positions within Boston Dance Theater.

*BDT has experience with international visa applications and can help advise on the process

Florence Dance Center Repertory Intensive is non-refundable.

Who Should Apply

Please review BDT's Community Agreements when applying.

Professional dancers ages 18 years and older who possess a strong technical background, a regular improvisation practice, and value somatic awareness. Applicants should have an interest in refining their technical abilities and learning physically dynamic choreography in a fast-paced environment. It is strongly recommended that prospective participants research the choreographers whose works are part of the company's repertory before completing the FDW application. Please note that proof of vaccination will be required to attend FDW.
