About The Event

Boston Dance Theater welcomes Roya Carreras back to Boston to work with the company for the 3rd time! Roya first worked with BDT in April 2022 to set a work on the Trainee Cohort as part of our Trainee Choreographer Series. Boston Dance Theater commissions three choreographers to work the Trainee Program each year, through an open call selection. After a successful week with the Trainees, we are welcomed Roya back through BDT’s Breakthrough Artist Series to set a new work on Boston Dance Theater througout a multiple week process over this past year.
