About The Event

Boston Dance Theater welcomes award-winning Israeli choreographer Itzik Galili and his artistic associate Elisabeth Gibiat back to Boston for the first time since 2019!

Since 2018 BDT has housed multiple works by Itzik in its repertoire, including “Chameleon”, “Man of the Hour” and “Memories” fashioned specifically for Boston Dance Theater’s Core Members. We are thrilled to welcome Itzik and Elisabeth back to stage a duet entitled “If as if” on the company!

BDT is a recipient of the inaugural BLOOM residency at The Dance Complex, with major support from Movement Arts Creation Studio. We are grateful to both organizations for providing studio space for these rehearsals. We would also like to thank the Consulate General of Israel to New England for their support of this engagement.
