About The Event
Boston Dance Theater invites you to an evening in celebration of dance. The 60-minute program will include the world premiere of dances choreographed by Roya Carreras (Iranian-Hispanic choreographer based in NYC and Education Director at Peridance), Isvel Bello (Cuban-American gender non-binary choreographer and BDT Core Member), and Maleek Washington (African-American choreographer for Broadway).

Boston Dance Theater (BDT)'s Trainee Program is a cohort of pre-professional, contemporary dancers who train alongside BDT's core team. Trainees are immersed in BDT's process of rehearsals and training in an effort to bridge the gap between their formative training and professional-level experiences. BDT commissions national-level contemporary choreographers to make work specifically for the Trainee cohort.
Season Three at Starlight Square begins on May 20, 2022. Like last year, tickets to performances are always free; pre-registration is required to manage capacity and contact tracing. If an event is sold out online, please know there is a block of tickets available for walk-up guests at the door.
